After the excesses of the holiday period it may be time to do an Autumn cleanse of the gut and liver before Easter looms up.  Signs and symptoms that you may need a detox are:

  • Unexplained fatigue
  • Poor digestion.
  • Recurring colds or headaches
  • Food allergies or adverse reactions to odours
  • Anxiety, depression or mood swings.

The benefits of a detox are:

  • More energy
  • Greater mental clarity
  • Improvement in gut flora and digestion
  • An increase is the bodies' ability to fight off infection, allergies and skin disorders
  • A greater ability for the liver, bowel and kidneys to detoxify toxins.

What is involved?

  • I take a case history to determine if you need a short or longer detox.
  • A short detox takes 4 weeks a longer one 8 weeks. 
  • Various herbs are prescribed and your diet adjusted.
