Detoxification for your long term health

With Xmas or in your life in general are you:

  • feeling fatigued
  • headachy
  • having digestive issues
  • experiencing muscular aches and pains

Or maybe you have more serious health problems or long term conditions such as :

  • auto-immune diseases
  • skin issues
  • anxiety
  • recurring infections

Either way a cleansing of the intestinal tract and liver can help reduce your symptoms and subtly strengthen your immune system to help your health long term.

So what is involved? Initially I do some testing to determine your level of toxicity in your intestinal tract. Based on your results a short detoxification of 2 weeks or a longer one of 6-10 weeks will be needed. I give you support along the way to keep you on track and for you to ask questionbs.

It is well worth the effort to do a detox diet. Give me a call to find out more. I have a booklet for you to look at.

Magnesium - its uses and forms

Did you know there are different forms of magnesium? Magnesium oxide, sulphate, citrate or chelated forms. Magnesium chelate in the form of magnesium bisglycinate was shown in tests to be far better absorbed than the other forms. It also has fewer side effects such as gut discomfort or diarrhoea.

So what is magnesium used for? It reduces muscular aches ,pains and spasm; increases physical and mental energy;alkalises an over acid system( this can contribute to disease); supports the nervous and cardio-vascular systems. As you can see it has numerous uses and is often depleted in our bodies.

I have magnesium in stock. It is a must mineral for overall health.

Orthobionomy

I did another orthobionomy course a few week ends ago. This is a very gentle type of massage developed by a Canadian osteopath. In this type of massage gentle pressure or traction are applied to joints and this releases tension in muscles through the nervous system. When we have physical or emotional trauma to the body, we compensate by using new sets of muscles in conjunction with our nervous system. Whilst orthbionomy cannot correct these old patterns, we can create new patterns. We go behind the tension to release it. So, with whiplash , which actually stretches the neck muscles and joints too far, we may find that traction rather than compression is more beneficial. With lower back pain tight muscles pull vertebrae out of alignment. By relaxing the muscles the discs pull the spine back into alignment. I include orthobionomy in my treatments to improve outcomes.
